Why this comparison does not rank the two

Most pages that compare two treatments are built to move a reader toward one of them, and the layout says so before the text does: a column set apart, a verdict at the end. That structure cannot be trusted by someone who is genuinely deciding, because it has already decided. This site sets a surgical repositioning and a course of radiofrequency tightening side by side as two different mechanisms. Both columns carry the same weight, neither is the default, and neither is described as the sensible first step.

How the balance is kept

Each option has a guide that is candid about what it cannot do, and the two are held to the same standard. The surgical side names irreversibility, permanent scars, weeks of visible healing, nerve and bleeding risk, and the fact that a later operation is harder. The tightening side names the modest size of the change, the fact that it fades, the sessions that repeat to maintain it, and the burns, fat loss and pigment change that are specific to heating skin. The cost guide explains what drives a total without quoting a figure, and one guide is given entirely to the faces that neither option serves.

How it is reviewed

Content is medically reviewed by Ke He, MD, Deputy Director and Head of Skin & Laser Aesthetics at Chongqing West District Hospital, who is the lead physician of this site and who performs the non-surgical half of the comparison. The review date appears on every article. The site names no device brand and no drug brand, describes devices only by their class, quotes no dosage and no price, promises no outcome, and states plainly that a facelift leaves permanent scars and cannot be undone.

What no website can do

It cannot tell you whether the change in your face is descent, volume loss or skin quality, how much of each is present, or how your skin would respond to being heated. Those answers require an examination, and both options are chosen from it rather than before it. It also cannot tell you how your face will age after either treatment, because that depends on your skin and on time. Read this site to arrive at an assessment able to ask precise questions, not to arrive at a conclusion without one.
